Seijiro Murayama is a percussion player who works mainly in the field of non-idiomatic improvisation (including idiomatic researches and workshops) and electro-acoustic composition. He is also active in plural disciplinary collaborations: these include incurions into dance (with Catherine Diverrès), video (Olivier Gallon), painting (François Bidault), photography (Purpose.fr), performance (Diego Chamy) as well as in litterature and philosophy (Jean-Luc Nancy, Ray Brassier). After almost 15 years spent in Europe between France and Berlin, Murayama currently lives and works in Japan.
